Physics Department Objectives

1. Preparing human staff capable of dealing with methods of scientific and academic research and applications.

2. Contribution to meet the country requirements of specialized staff in physics and applications.

3. Getting the students to be qualified to postgraduate studies to continue research in physics.

4. Scientific experiences transition and settlement to Iraqi environment to contribute to national education progress.

5. Physics section pays a special attention to pure and applied studies to qualify students theoretically and practically to be able to resume postgraduate studies on one hand, and to perform a significant role in research, development and working in scientific and industrial facilities.
