1 - Undergraduate Laboratories

The Biology section has nine laboratories with a capacity of twenty five students each. All laboratories are furnished with lab furniture and supplied with glassware and other equipments like microscope, sensitive balances, centrifuges, water baths, heaters, ovens, incubators, sterilization devices, Ph meter, spectrometer, etc.

These devices are distributed over the Following Seven Laboratories:
1. Biology General Laboratory.

2. Histology Laboratory.

3. Animal Physiology Laboratory.

4. Invertebrates Laboratory.

5. Taxonomy and Plant Anatomy Laboratory.

6. Molecular Biological Laboratory.

7. Microbiology Laboratory.

2 - Computer Laboratories

The biology section has a computer lab with the capacity of 25 computers. Students are trained on the modern software and their applications.

3 –Research Laboratories

       Biology section has a number of research laboratories as well as animal house and cooled room for keeping samples for teaching staff, Postgraduate and research projects students.

       These laboratories have research devices such as ideal fermenter, modern Kaldal device,   various incubators including shaking incubator, ice maker, different microscopes with cameras, florescent microscope, and spectrometer at virtual, ultra violate and florescent, different centrifugal devices including Apendrov, distillation devices in addition to simple devices as mentioned above.

        The section looks forward to get a number of research devices like electronic microscope sustainable farm fermenter and other specialized equipment.
