This study aims to is to evaluate the bioanalytical properties of complexes formed by selected transition elements and their corresponding nano-oxides. This evaluation will emphasize their structural, electronic, and catalytic characteristics, as well as their potential biological applications. This study is significant because it explores the bioanalytical properties of zinc (II) complexes and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles, focusing on their potential for biological applications. The research highlights the structural, electronic, and catalytic characteristics of these complexes and nanoparticles, which were found to exhibit strong antimicrobial and antibiofilm activities. This is particularly important in the context of increasing antimicrobial resistance, as the study suggests that zinc complexes and ZnO nanoparticles could serve as alternative treatments for infections caused by resistant bacteria, offering new strategies to combat biofilm-associated infections.
