The electronic discussion of the master student, Ihsan Hamid Rashid

The electronic discussion of the master student (Ihsan Hamid Rashid) Department of Chemistry - College of Science - Anbar University took place on Wednesday 6/5/2020 at Jaber bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science using the e-learning platform (Google Hangout Meet) on his tagged message:

Study the effect of some biochemical variables in women with osteoporosis in Anbar Governorate

The discussion committee consisted of:

Prof. Nojoud Faisal Yousef Al-Sarraj University of Baghdad - College of Education for Pure Sciences / Ibn Al-Haytham as President

Prof. Khaled Farouk Abdul Ghafour Al-Anbar University - College of Science as Member

Prof. Shaker Faris Talib, Anbar University - College of Education for Pure Sciences member

Prof. Wajih Yunus Muhammad Anbar University - College of Science member and supervisor

Dr.. Ismail Khalaf Farhan, Ministry of Health - Anbar Health Department, an honorable member

The thesis dealt with a study of a group of biochemical variables affecting osteoporosis in women in Anbar province, such as the effect of calcitonin, parathyroid hormone, estradiol and vitamin D3, as well as an estimate of basal phosphatase activity and an estimate of the level of calcium, phosphorus, selenium and diabetes in both types of fasting sugar and random sugar.

The study was conducted on (60) women in Al-Anbar Governorate, whose ages ranged between (25-65). (15) women were taken as a control group between the ages of (25 -35) years, as well as (45) women with osteoporosis.

The results showed that there were no significant differences between the groups under study for both the basal phosphatase and diabetes of both random and fasting types, while the study showed that there were no significant differences between the groups under study for calcium, phosphorus, selenium, vitamin (D3), estradiol hormone, thyroid hormone and calcitonin hormone.

It is worth noting that the dean of the College of Science was present online during the discussion, and after extensive discussion by the committee members with the student about the subject of his thesis, the thesis was accepted.

Congratulations to the student, the faculty of science, and the discussion committee.
