A joint scientific cooperation between the College of Science and the Anbar Antiquities Inspectorate

 A joint scientific cooperation between the College of Science and the Antiquities Inspectorate to uncover buried archaeological sites using geophysical methods

 Within the scientific activities of the University of Anbar and in the pursuit of the Deanship of the College of Science to communicate with the various state departments, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Emad Abdul-Rehman Muhammad Salih, the respected met with Mr. Muhammad Jasim, the inspector of Anbar's antiquities, in the presence of the respected Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Rashed, Director of Public Relations and Media Department at the Presidency of the University. During the meeting, a discussion of the possibility of cooperation between the faculty represented by the Department of Applied Geology and the Inspectorate in uncovering buried archaeological sites using geophysical methods. It was agreed to hold a symposium on the applications of geophysical methods in the exploration of antiquities, in addition to providing the college with a map of undiscovered archaeological sites for cooperation between the two parties in uncovering them.
