 About the Master's Program in Physical Education and Sports Science

Program description:
    The master’s program consists of a total of (36) units of study divided into (24) units for the preparatory year and (12) units for the research year (thesis evaluation rate). The preparatory year includes compulsory and elective courses divided into two semesters of (15) weeks per semester. The Arabic language is the approved language of the program. Students who have a bachelor’s degree from faculties and departments of physical education and sports sciences, except for graduates of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the faculties of basic education, join the program after passing the competitive test and according to the regulations and instructions of postgraduate studies in force in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The program is a master’s degree in physical education and sports sciences. The program aims to develop the students’ abilities to understand knowledge and critically analyze problems related to sports sciences in an in-depth and organized manner, and to create opportunities for students to develop their skills in terms of analyzing sports skills, critical evaluation and developing problem-solving methods to be active members in the application of sports specialization. and work to provide a pluralistic, learner-centered learning environment for study Current issues in the sports field, improving the efficiency of learners to respect and appreciating the difference in values ??and perspectives of practitioners in the field, and developing communication skills with specialists and non-specialists in the sports field.
 

About the PhD Program in Physical Education and Sports Science

Program description:

    The doctoral program consists of a total of (60) units of study divided into (24) units for the preparatory year and (36) units for the two research years (the thesis evaluation rate). The Arabic language is the approved language of the program, and students who have master’s degrees from colleges and departments of physical education and sports sciences join the program after passing the competitive test and according to the regulations and instructions of postgraduate studies in force in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The program aims to develop learners’ abilities to understand knowledge and critically analyze problems related to sports sciences in an in-depth and orderly manner, and to create opportunities for students to develop their skills in terms of mathematical skills analysis, critical evaluation, and development of problem-solving methods to be active members in the application of sports specialization, and to provide an educational environment characterized by pluralism and centering. About the learner to study current issues in the sports field, and improve the efficiency of learners To respect and appreciate the difference in values ??and perspectives of practitioners in the field and to develop communication skills with specialists and non-specialists in the field of sports.
