This unit correlates all units of the center; it is the source of all future scientific plans of HEBD center where the feasibility of different projects and studies is analyzed, especially with regard to the investment of natural resources.

From here we will state the scientific plans of HEBD center concerning this very important unit:

First : The scientific plan for the year of creation of HEBDC 2008-2009:

1-    definition seminar the of the center was planned to be held in a scientific symposium about the resources and environment of the Upper Euphrates basin in cooperation with the Department of dams engineering and water resources - College of Engineering in 4/5/2009.

2-    Preparing the research plans for the full or part-time members of the center to work in the center, follow up on its implementation, and focus on the writing of textbooks and help to provide universities with modern books.

Second : Scientific plans and future prospects for the coming years: -

1.     Each scientific department shall prepare an annual scientific symposium and a seasonal seminar, ie, the center will sponsor three scientific symposiums and six seminars each year.

2.     The Center shall hold a biennial scientific conference where the 1^st scientific conference will be held on 2010.

3.     The Center will initiate a study to develop an advisory office with all the functions of its research units.
