The real database is the basis for sober scientific planning

     Following the directives of the Presidency of the University of Anbar to open up to the various state offices to enhance its role in serving the community and achieve its strategic plans for achieving the sustainable development goals, the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center (UEBDC) was established under the generous auspices of the respected President of the University, Professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Al Neda, the entitled workshop (THE REAL DATABASE IS THE BASIS FOR SOBER SCIENTIFIC PLANNING) in cooperation with the local administration in Anah district.

      The Director of our beloved Center, Professor Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, stressed the keenness of the presidency of University of Anbar represented by the esteemed President of the University and his assistant gentlemen to build bridges of cooperation and openness to various offices of the state, especially service and economic development nature offices because of its importance and direct impact on the community and to start development and change towards community development through the university expressing its appreciation and high appreciation to the local administration in his district, which initiated communication with the university for the purpose of providing full support to the university's plans in establishing an integrated database of the cities of the province, Through the UEBDC with cooperation with others to complete an integrated study to develop plans for the development of the judiciary in various fields through its high confidence in the university researchers and their scientific and research capabilities for his part, Mr. Ahmed Adel, municipal director of him expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the local administration in the district represented by Mr. mayor and his officials for this generous initiative of the university and the keenness of the university presidency to succeed and support these activities and that University of Anbar is a great scientific edifice in the province and has scientific and human capabilities to plan and to achieve the overall development of the cities of the province.

     During the workshop, various problems related to the work of the various departments in the district were discussed in terms of how and methods of data collection to create a real integrated database and prepare and train different staff for this purpose.  The most important aspects of the study of planning for comprehensive development projects in the district, such as infrastructure, economic projects, agriculture, energy, water, educational aspects of the community environment, were also discussed, where the representatives of the various offices in the district gave a full explanation of the most important problems facing their work, development plans, perceptions and visions about the different causes of these problems, hoping that the proposed study will be comprehensive in analyzing these causes and problems and developing appropriate solutions based on the scientific and applied foundations supporting applied scientific evidence. Through discussions and interventions agree on permanent communication to complete the collection of the required data and organize courses at the university to prepare trained staffs in data organization, statistics and data analysis in cooperation with the university through the College of Management and Economy and the Continuing Education Center in addition to work on the establishment of a terminal station in the district belongs to the UEBDC to form a base for joint cooperation between University of Anbar and various departments in the cities of the Upper Euphrates Basin (Anah, Rawah, and Qaim) in addition to the first terminal station in Haditha district after obtaining the administrative approvals of fundamentalism to be the fruit of scientific cooperation between the university and the province, which culminated recently in the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the university and the province under the auspices and support of the Governor and the President of the University.

     The director of the center was accompanied in the presence of Professor Dr. Kamal Saleh Gazguz, member of the UEBDC board, Instructor Dr. Ahmed Saud Mohammed, head of the planning and databases department at the UEBDC, and Dr. Ahmed Ali Najib, coordinator between the local administration in Anah district and the university.
