Opening of the course (Mendeley Program in Scientific Research)

Within the curriculum of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre/ Human Resources Development Department and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre in the presidency of the University of Anbar in holding various scientific courses and events, the course was held on Sunday: (Mendeley Program in Scientific Research), For the period from 26 - 28/11/2023, and at the main hall of the Centre. This course was held on the Mendeley program for organizing and sorting references, as this program is one of the free programs for collecting and organizing references, and is used during the citation process within the research or thesis.

The themes of the course were as follows:

The first axis: A brief overview of the program and its features.

The second axis: How to create an account for the program and install it.

The third axis: How to work on the program.

The fourth axis: A practical application to use the program.

One of the most important features provided by the Mendeley program is the possibility of choosing method of writing the citation as (APA; AMA; Chicago Vancouver). The Mendelely program also organizes references automatically according to the order of paragraphs, and when you change the places of some paragraphs, their reference places change automatically, and it provides the ability to share references with your fellow researchers through the program, as well as you can see research related to your research topic, and this program was chosen as a free program and because of its ease of use as well as support by the company of (Elsevier).

The course is held for three days interspersed with a written exam and a large number of researchers participated in this course.
