The second day of the course (Mendeley Program in Scientific Research)

The Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / Human Resources Development Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre at the Presidency of the University of Anbar, continued to present the activities of the second day of the course tagged: (Mendeley Program in Scientific Research), which will continue for the period from 26 - 28/11/2023, and on the main hall of the Centre, in which researchers in the Department of Natural Resources / Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre lectured by Dr. (Haitham Abdul Mohsen Afn), Dr. (Bashir Khalil Ibrahim) and Dr. (Atheer Salim Obaid Al-Mawla).

Where the second lecture, which was attended by a large number of researchers and instructor at the university, dealt with the third and fourth axis of the course curriculum, namely:

The third theme: - How to work on the program.

The fourth theme: - A practical application to use the program.

The attendees of the course were trained on how to start importing references from the official pages of research through a special tool for the program (Web Importer), as this tool facilitates the process of obtaining sources correctly, as well as working on how to enter sources in the event that they are not available through the program's main page. Work has also been done on the tool integrated into the program ((Word Mendeley Addin), which helps to enter these references in the research required to quote these sources has also been clarified how to use this program in order to change the format of the sources according to the journal to be sent research to as this program is characterized by the ease of converting these references as well as its support for a very large number of formats for international journals. Also, through this course, a number of tools were pointed out that the researcher can benefit from in the citation process, and at the end of this course, some questions were discussed from some of the attendees and all their inquiries were answered.
