Afforestation campaign

 As part of the Anbar University Green Oasis campaign, the Women’s Affairs Unit is organizing a afforestation campaign in the College of Agriculture.

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Edham Ali Abd, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Agriculture at Anbar University, and at the initiative of Assistant Lecturer Nour Abdel Majeed Zaki, the unit’s official, and liaison members, Assistant Lecturer Nour Youssef Othman, Mrs. Nasiba Abdel Rahman, and Mrs. Arwa Mahmoud Abdel Jabbar, organized the A planting campaign in the college gardens on Thursday, 5/30/2024. 

The campaign aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of afforestation and its role in preserving the environment and combating desertification, in addition to beautifying the college’s courtyards and gardens and creating a healthy and beautiful university environment for students, faculty and staff. The campaign witnessed wide participation by faculty members, students and employees, who planted many trees throughout the college

Anbar University Participates in the Iraqi Police Celebrations on the Occasion of its 103rd Founding Anniversary. In a move that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between educational and security institutions in Anbar Governorate, the College of Science, represented by the Women's Affairs Unit and college students, participated in the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Police. This participation came to confirm the important role played by the security forces in maintaining security and stability in the country, as students presented flowers to the Iraqi police in appreciation and appreciation for their great role in protecting the homeland and the citizen. During the celebration, brochures were distributed about the Iraqi police and the history of its establishment, in order to enhance awareness among students about the importance of this security apparatus in the history of Iraq.
