Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khalid Battal Al-Najim,  the President of University of Anbar in coincidence with the 30^th anniversary of the founding of the university and the 97^th of the founding anniversary of the courageous Iraqi army, the president of the university opened on Wednesday, 3th of January,  2018 with the presence of both the Vice-president of scientific affairs and administrative affairs, deans of colleges and managers, teaching staff and students a cultural and artistic festival at the university hall for student activities. The Women's Affairs Committee had a great participation through the establishment of a bazaar for handicrafts and an exhibition of graphics.
