The Quality Assurance Department at University of Anbar holds a workshop in cooperation with the National Council on (Standards Methodology and Implementation Mechanisms)

Part of the attendance of the Honorable Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. (Abdul Rahman Salman Jumah), the Quality Assurance Officer at the College, and the liaison members, the workshop held by the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency in cooperation with the National Council for Accreditation of the Programs of the Colleges of the Educational Group on (Standards Methodology and Mechanisms for Their Implementation). On Tuesday, 3/5/2024, the workshop was headed by (Assist Prof Dr. Ihsan Khalaf Arthia / Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at University of Anbar). The workshop included a series of lectures on programmatic accreditation standards, in which Prof. Dr. Haider Hatem Al-Ajrash, head of the National Council for Accreditation of Programs for Colleges of the Educational Group in Iraq, lectured. In his lecture, he addressed programmatic accreditation and the mechanisms for its application in public and private universities, explaining general concepts and terminology, and national standards. To accredit educational college programs, consisting of six standards: (specialized and educational knowledge, field training and partnerships, students, program impact and effectiveness, quality assurance and continuous improvement, and resources). In addition to the evaluation criteria for the standards of the National Council for Accreditation of Educational Group Colleges Programs, the organizational steps for obtaining academic program accreditation, the general framework for writing a self-evaluation report and improvement plan, and the foundations for writing a conformity report, Assist Prof Dr Haitham Latif Abdel Hadi, a member of the National Council for Accreditation, also discussed Programs of the educational group colleges, some indicators and standards that guarantee the achievement of accreditation standards, writing a conformity report and how to document evidence and evidence, He also discussed the application of program accreditation in educational colleges and the importance of the strategic plan and its importance to the program because it represents the actual gateway to work. The training workshop was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assist Prof Dr. Wissam Hashem Khalil, the deans of the colleges of education for girls, modern basic education, and existing education, in addition to the scientific assistants, officials of the quality assurance divisions in the colleges, and the central and subsidiary committees for accreditation, and participants interested in programmatic accreditation from the colleges of Anbar University.
