Political Science Department

            The Department of Political Science was established in the academic year 2009/2010 as a second department in the College of Law and Political Science / University of Anbar. The establishment of the College of Law and Political Science goes back to 2002, and a (Department of Political Science) was established as a department in College of Law, and it became part of the College of Law and Political Science. In 2010, the name of college became (College of Law and Political Science instead of / College of Law / Ramadi). The Department of Political Science is distinguished by the acceptance of students from all governorates of Iraq, who want to pursue political science. The Political Science accepts high school graduates, both scientific and literary branches. It aims to prepare scientifically qualified cadres in the study of political science in various fields of political thought, political systems, international studies and others. It seeks to prepare specialized students to work in the future in specialized universities, international organizations and institutions related to media, public relations, human rights and democracy, and to provide scientific advice and proposals to state departments by raising the level of scientific research in political studies. The Department of Political Sciences offers a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in political science / international studies. The location of the Department of Political Science at Anbar University / College of Law and Political Science / Al-Anbar Governorate / Iraq.
