The College of Medicine co-chairs a session of an international conference on hematology
Professor Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Ani, teaching consultant in hematology at the College of Medicine - Anbar University, participated in the proceedings of two international conferences in the specialty of hematology, which were held consecutively for the period from 4/27-30/2024. The conference was organized by the American Society of Hematology (Society of Hematologic Oncology - SOHO) based in the US state of Texas through its representation in Istanbul - Turkey. In conjunction with it, the conference of the Turkish Hematology Specialist Association (HSA) was held.
In his capacity as SOHO Ambassador in Iraq, Professor Al-Ani participated in chairing the discussion of the session dedicated to multiple myeloma, in which researchers specialized in this disease from different countries met.
Such global participations, in this capacity as a gateway to communication with developed world countries in this field, reflect the distinguished scientific activity and the bright image of the college and the University of Anbar. Many distinguished and distinguished international scientific figures in the field of hematology have come forward to participate in the events and activities held by the college.
