Preparations for the launch of a project to treat waste and produce organic fertilizer and biogas

In an implementation of the university’s strategic plans to improve the environment and waste treatment to reach a sustainable green environment and achieve sustainable development goals and 2030 vision, preparations are still underway to launch the waste treatment project and the production of organic fertilizer and biogas, where the preliminary studies for the project were completed by the Renewable Energy Research Center and the Upper Basin Development Center The Euphrates The environmental impact study was also completed to choose the appropriate site for this project, and this report was approved, as the appropriate sites for the units of this project were identified within the university site based on this report by the internationally approved standard specifications.
It is hoped that this project will start in the coming weeks. It is mentioned that the university includes professors and specialists in this field who have previously participated in designing and implementing several treatment plants and providing technical and engineering consultations for many of these plant projects.
