A teaching staff member Dr. Fadwa Waleed Abdulqahar Ph.D. discussion

A teaching staff member Dr. Fadwa Waleed Abdulqahar Ph.D. discussion On Sunday morning, 11/5/2023, our teaching staff member Dr. Fadwa Waleed Abdulqahar discussed her Ph.D. dissertation entitled (Preparing nanomaterials derived from the roots of the Indian costus plant Saussurea lappa Clarke and demonstrating the impact of their applications in bioactivity and food manufacturing) at the College of Agriculture - Tikrit University. The study aimed to integrate complementary medicine with nanotechnology and food technology, using materials that can already be consumed within the routine daily diet, to overcome the lack of appropriate treatments for the two most important health problems, Covid-19 and cancer. The biological examinations were conducted using artificial intelligence applications for in silico study, as well as in vitro and in vivo studies in laboratory animals. The possibility of manufacturing nanonutraceuticals containing these nanomaterials was then tested, and the experiments proved to be very successful in achieving the objectives of the study. The researcher additionally recommended using green extraction methods and manufacturing methods for the materials used in the study for the purpose of conducting further in-vivo and clinical tests to prove the effectiveness of these nanomaterials and test the possibility of using them in manufacturing other nano-therapeutic foods in the future. After extensive discussion by the committee members, the thesis was accepted with excellence mark after making the corrections recommended by the discussion committee... Congratulations to the student and supervisor.
