About the Department of Quranic Sciences

 Department of Quran Sciences and Islamic Education/ College of Education/ Al-Qaim.

Establishment: This department was established in 2007 as one of the department academies as a part of the college in Al-Qaim district. Despite difficulties and harsh circumstances, the department is still ongoing through these situations and it has a great positive impact in this area.

 Academic and scientific side:

The most important sciences that the Qur’an Sciences Department is interested in:

1. The machine sciences include linguistics, Grammar, the science of reciting, articulation science and the science of interpretation.
2.   Ancient science stories, believe science, the science of jurisprudence, the science of the origins of jurisprudence and knowledge of Allah and the hereafter.
 
In the Department of Qur’anic Sciences, other sciences are also taught. Inimitability of the Quran, the science of recitation, the science of sending down the verses.  science of abrogation the science of the causes of revelation, the science of miracles, understanding and knowledge of the first and last revelations of the Qur’an, knowledge of what part was sent down in Mecca or Madinah, the knowledge of how the Quran was written and the moral of reciting.
 

Academic staff

The department started with 

This department started with a few staff who worked hard to carry out their duty regarding administrative and academic burdens. Nowadays, the number of staff has raised with qualified experiences with very specific specialization. The college still hopes to assign more staff to be adequate with increasing the number of students who applied to the college.

 

 

Personnel and administrative staff:

In this section, several technicians and administrative staff work in who have a significant impact on the section’s performance like the registration and internet unit. 

Alumni and students:

Every year, more than 130 students are accepted into the college before 2014 when ISIS attacked the province. The number of students at that time in the department was more than 500 students. The head of the department used to divide each level into two groups. The number of alumni was more than 45 each year. These alumni are well educated and qualified to do their duties in secondary schools.
