A part of the plan prepared by the Ministry of Interior Affairs and in response to the orders of Major General Khadum Salman Buhan, the director general of the directorate of the civil defense, a health team from the civil defense directorate in Anbar led by Colonel Riyad Amer, the head of the CBRN team, "a rapid response team for biological, chemical and nuclear accidents" has sulfurated the buildings of the College of Sciences, scientific laboratories and the study classes.  Colonel Riyad said that this action is a precautionary action that the directorate has taken to confront the dangers of the spread of Corona Virus.

 He further explained that this campaign came in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in order to take advantage of the off period and prepare buildings to resume the study regularly.
