A master's thesis was discussed at University of Anbar - College of Science and tagged (Induction of resistance in tomato plants Lycopersicon esculentum Mill against the fungus Alternaria spp. Which cause the disease of Alternaria spot using some chemicals in combination with or without the extracts Trichoderma spp).

It aims letter submitted by the student (Zainab Ayed Hamdan) from the Department of Biology to find alternatives to reduce the use of chemical pesticides in the fight against plant diseases which are not hidden its harmful impact on the environment and the health department has been working to stimulate plant resistance against the fungus Alternaria spp that causes spotting Alternary using some organic acids that are not harmful to humans, with different concentrations and using different treatment methods for plants.

The results showed a clear effect in raising the levels of resistance in the tomato plant against infection with the disease, Alternaria leaf spot
