The study aims to improve the chemical and mechanical methods for preparing nanoparticles derived from cellulose. Spraying was also used as a new method for preparing and forming nano membranes. Manufacture of a new membrane from cellulose acetate nanoparticles to remove heavy metal ions and salts from aqueous solutions and desalinate water. The results showed high efficiency of mechanical chemical grinding using a basket mill, as it was very effective in producing particles within the range of 5 - 10 nm. The efficiency of water desalination was obtained for all types of membranes, where the rate of salt rejection for all membranes was more than 99%, and the membranes showed high resistance to the influence of chlorine.
