A new laboratory device in the College of Science to measure ultrasound waves

Within the plan of the College of Science Deanship to develop scientific laboratories in the college through the creation, rehabilitation and furnishing of scientific laboratories in order to complete scientific research and serve dear students

The research laboratory in the chemistry department is equipped with an Ultrasonic Probe

The head of the chemistry department pointed out the importance of ultrasound, an unconventional technique that has many advantages, including:

The ability to treat very toxic waste under normal conditions and environmentally friendly technology, and acoustic treatment can be stopped simply by turning off the power and the device is cost-effective and safe and has wide industrial applications, including:

1-     Producing industrial and nanoscale materials with wide returns and economic applications from cheap materials, in addition to reducing environmental pollution.

2-    Decomposition of toxicity of substances by means of radicals and combustion, the benefit of which is not to form harmful intermediates.

3-    Sterilization by shock waves and roots, and the benefit is not to use any chemicals.

4-    Cutting the polymer chains using ultrasound and without using any starting material for the purpose of efficient use of biological resources.

5-    It is used in the field of life sciences and biochemistry in the homogeneity and breakdown of cells or the tearing of cell walls.

6-    It helps in the field of engineering with drilling, milling and cutting operations. It is usually used in hard and hard materials.

It is worth noting that the device has become a working device for students and researchers, and the college is determined to provide most of the devices that allow undergraduate and postgraduate students to complete their scientific research easily and easily without the need to search for second places.
