The public discussion of the master’s student (Hanan Khamis Khalaf), Department of Chemistry - College of Science - University of Anbar, took place on Wednesday, 31-8- 2021 at Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science about her thesis tagged:-

((Preparation and Characterization of New Tetrahedral Complexes and their Application in Removing Some Metal Contaminants from their Media))

The study aims to Chractrazation and prepare a variety of di-thiocarbamate ligands and their cyclic di-metallic complexes from the first chain elements, as well as used to give tetragonal compounds, which were proven through the use of physical and chemical techniques. The study aimed to capture some heavy metals from industrial water, as well as to test the biological  activity of the ligands and some of their complexes prepared on two types of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli).
