Carbon quantum dots (CQDs) are the latest generation of carbon nano materials in applications. With several attractive properties. In this study, The aim of the research was, is used lemon as a natural source for preparing the introduced carbon quantum dots powder (CQDs) using the  simple hydrothermal method,Using green sources to produce carbon nanomaterial, because of its low cost, simple, repeatable, and environment friendly. One-step hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) process can be used to synthesis CQDs. HTC is a facile synthesis process that uses low temperature profiles (≤ 250 C).Study the effectiveness of the obtained CQDs in different applications (Anti-microbial, gas sensor, and Hydrophilic or Hydrophobic).
