The public discussion of the master's student - (Asmaa Yusef Abd) from the Department of Biology at the College of Science - University of Anbar on Tuesday 19/7/2022 was held at Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science about her tagged thesis.

 ((((A physiological - bacteriological study of patients with thyroid disease))

The study aims To focus on some physiological and biochemical variables affected by thyroid gland disorders to study the bacterial infection causing thyroiditis. The results showed that hyperthyriodism and hypothyroidism are common disorders in Ramadi city.  Both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism patients are deficient in Vitamin D. Patients with hypothyroidism suffer from obesity and anemia with obvious dyslipidemia and the Irisin level is significantly higher in hyperthyroidism as compared to hypothyroidism and control control group in addition to the presence of many bacterial isolates that cause thyroiditis of both Gram _positive and Gram _negative types.
