The public discussion of a master’s student (Hanan Abdul Hamid Ghafouri) in the Department of Biology - College of Science - University of Anbar on Tuesday 2/8/2022 was held in Jaber bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science about her thesis tagged: -

(Molecular Docking and in vitro Effect of Immunological peptide β-Defensins2 on the Expression of Membrane Genes of E. coli Isolated from Human Infections)

  The thesis aimed to investigate the effects of the human immune peptide β-Defensins2 on the plasma membrane genes of Escherichia coli isolated from human infections using molecular docking algorithms and protein representation programs.  This is one of the works that used new techniques of computer algorithms for bioinformatics with life sciences to obtain hypothetical effects of substances on living organisms and then confirm them in the laboratory.
