As part of the joint scientific cooperation between the College of Science and its counterparts in Iraqi universities, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Turki, teaching in the Department of Biology, participated in the discussion committee of the master’s student, Ibtihal Qassem Muhammad from the College of Science, University of Diyala, for her thesis tagged ((Molecular investigation of biofilm and quorum sensing genes and biofilm in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from different clinical cases)), where the study, which was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hadi Rahman Rashid, teaching in the Department of Biology, University of Diyala, aims to detect the quorum sensitivity of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from different quorum sensing genes and biofilm in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from different clinical cases in Diyala Hospital and the role of its genes in biofilm formation. As well as isolation of quorum sensing genes in these bacteria.

After extensive discussion by the committee members, the letter was accepted.
