    Western Iraqi Desert
     

    The Iraqi desert, which cover most of Iraq, characterized by the geologic formations rich in different industrial rocks & minerals which can be invested to support the Iraqi national economy. These deposits found through most of the geological time scale from Ordovician – Resent , represented by  iron deposit , white & red Kaolinite , limestone, dolomite, gypsum, with huge reserve of phosphate, porcelinte, palygoriskite, Smectite – rich clay (for drilling wells), as well as a very pure glass sand (>97%SiO2), heavy metal sand ,Bauxite & Flint. All these materials needs more detail studies to discover anew reserves. Salt, raw materials for cement industry, construction materials are found in huge amount, the area is encouraging for gas&oil reservoir, the geophysical and field indicator gave a great hope  culminated by Akass Field. Sulphur springs from Haitha to Sammawah can be invested for Tourism & Balenotherapy.All these materials are ready for investment to support the national economy.
