The Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering - College of Engineering - Anbar University held today, Monday, 2/26/2024, as part of its curriculum of scientific activities for the academic year 2023/2024, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghaleb Razik Ibrahim and a number of the department’s teachers and students, a workshop entitled (Thermal insulation methods in residential buildings)
Delivered by teaching Asst. Lec. Ibrahim Khader Abdul Jabbar
The workshop included a detailed explanation of modern methods of thermal insulation in residential buildings and homes. Thermal insulation is considered an essential step in improving the efficiency of electrical energy and the comfort of residents in light of the continuous technological development and increasing awareness of sustainability issues.
In the workshop, the researcher touched on the advantages, types and materials of thermal insulation in residential buildings, in addition to methods of thermal insulation in ceilings and walls to obtain the best efficiency in electrical energy consumption.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the researcher showed that improving the efficiency of thermal insulation plays a crucial role in developing a more comfortable and sustainable residential environment.
