The College of Basic Education/Modern held a workshop on publishing scientific research in reputable journals.

In compliance with the directives of the esteemed President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, regarding the necessity of revitalizing research activities and sharing experiences among the university's faculties to educate university researchers on the structure of scientific publishing in international repositories that benefit the publishing researcher and elevate academic standards through mobile research teams, the College of Basic Education/Modern had the honor on this Tuesday, the 27th of February 2024, of hosting two expert academics from the University of Anbar's Faculty of Agriculture:

- Dr. Dhafir Thabit Mohammed

- Assistant Professor Sulwan Mahmoud Abdul Latif

They were welcomed by the respected Dean of the College of Basic Education/Modern, Professor Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, who expressed appreciation for their efforts in making the journey despite the travel hardships. The esteemed guests were then briefed on the developments at the college and commended its scientific and urban achievements as a cultural hub and a vital resource stemming from knowledge and culture.

Subsequently, they proceeded to the conference hall, which hosted the scientific workshop titled "The Structure of Scientific Research and Finding the Suitable Journal for Publication," scheduled to continue for two consecutive days. The workshop began with a lecture by Dr. Sulwan, who started by thanking the college administration and then delivered his presentation on "How to Conduct Rigorous Scientific Research and Publish in Reputable Scientific Journals." Following that, Dr. Dhafir presented the key points of his lecture on "How to Submit Research to the University of Anbar's Journals System."

Faculty members of the college attended the workshop and expressed deep appreciation for the valuable information gained from it. The workshop was managed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rajab Al-Rawi, who concluded by opening the floor for discussion and feedback from the attendees to enrich the content presented by the lecturers on this topic and its importance. The college administration extended its gratitude to the lecturers and all those who contributed and participated in this seminar, praying for everyone's success.
