The Minister of Planning inaugurates a number of projects at Anbar University
His Excellency the Minister of Planning, Dr. Eng. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, accompanied by Dr. Ali Farhan Al-Dulaimi, Governor of Anbar, and Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Saleh Al-Nada, President of Anbar University, inaugurated a number of urban and service projects at the university. The Minister inaugurated the classroom building in the College of Education for Girls and the classroom building in the College of Agriculture Which was re-established with funding from the Regional Development Fund in Anbar Governorate. His Excellency inspected the classrooms and reviewed the progress of work in them.
Then the delegation headed to the main university site, where it was briefed on the waterfall fountain, artificial lakes, green infrastructure and exquisite architectural touches. The building of the Central Student Club, which was also rehabilitated from Anbar Governorate / Regions Development, was inaugurated. The delegation toured the student club building on the ground floor, which was allocated to university students The other floor was allocated to the teachers.
Then the University Council hosted the Minister and the Governor, during which a documentary film produced by the Department of Media and Public Relations was shown about the reconstruction journey at the university and the urban achievements achieved in it. He listened to what was presented by the President of the University and the members of the University Council to provide the needs that would contribute With more advancement and scientific progress for the university, in turn, His Excellency the Minister and the Governor expressed their willingness to cooperate with the University of Anbar and provide the support it needs at all levels.
Battal indicated during the press conference in the Martyrs’ Hall at the university, saying, “Today, we opened some projects at the University of Anbar, and we found a reconstruction campaign that has been going on for years. It is even better than it was before, in advance of his thanks to the Governor of Anbar and the President of the University, and his overwhelming happiness with the achievements made at the University at all levels...
While the Governor of Anbar said during the conference, I was honored today by the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Planning to Anbar Governorate and the inauguration of a number of service projects at Anbar University and to see the progress of work in other projects. He thanked the Minister for his great support to the people of Anbar Governorate.
