The Department of Human Resources Development at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre - University of Anbar announced the results of a study on the satisfaction of graduates at University of Anbar with the educational process and benefiting from studying in the labour market in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics. The study relied on a questionnaire for samples of graduates from various disciplines at the University of Anbar that was announced on the centre's website, and the analysis of the questionnaire samples and the analysis of the results was conducted by a team of specialists from the College of Administration and Economics, which included Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hussein Battal, Prof. Dr. Wissam Hussein Ali and instructor Dr. Ahmed Diaa El-Din Salah.

Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Yassin Al-Nada, Head of the Human Resources Development Department at the Centre, said that this study comes from the continuous keenness of the department and the Centre to participate in the continuous development and qualification for accreditation that the Centre seeks as one of the most important formations at the university, which provides databases for the various pillars of sustainable development, foremost of which are human resources, whose backbone is graduates, and therefore the extent of their satisfaction with the educational process and the extent to which they benefit from it in the labour market is an indicator of a large degree It is important to achieve the sustainable development goals related to the fourth goal (quality education) and the eighth goal (decent work and economic growth) that the university seeks to achieve within its vision for sustainable development 2030 and its strategic plans in this field.

He added that the results of the study and analysis conducted by the specialized team from the College of Administration and Economics indicated that the experience and research index achieved a satisfaction rate of (66%) at the overall level of the university, which is an almost average percentage indicating that the research processes and experience possessed by students can help them find jobs commensurate with their specialties, and at the level of specialization, the results showed that medical specialties have the lowest degree of satisfaction by (55%), which is a moderate degree of satisfaction and somewhat close to the low degree, While agricultural specialties were (67%), which represents a high degree of satisfaction.

As for the Alumni Relationship Index, the university's relationship with graduates was good, with a satisfaction score of 76%. It is a good percentage that indicates that the university is keen to form bonds of cooperation and communication with its graduates and help them improve their vision towards obtaining jobs in the labor market, and perhaps the most important aspects of cooperation is the Department of Employment and Rehabilitation in the Presidency of the University, as for the level of specialization, and the results show that the lowest degree of satisfaction was for humanitarian disciplines by (73%), which represents a high level, and the highest degree of satisfaction was for scientific disciplines by (79%), which also shows a high level of satisfaction with this axis.

While the challenges indicator received a satisfaction rate of (65%), which is an average percentage that indicates that there are challenges facing students when they graduate and that the university is keen to overcome all these challenges and difficulties by following different strategies. The results of the questionnaire show that the lowest satisfaction score was for medical specialties at (60%), which is close to the moderate level, and the highest level of satisfaction was from the share of scientific specialties at (67%), which is within the moderate level and close to high.

The proportionality of the abilities and skills related to students with the labor market obtained a degree of satisfaction (59%), which is an average degree indicating that the abilities and skills needed by students need careful study to know the employers' need for skills and experience for graduate students and the adaptation of materials and processes, and the results of the questionnaire show that the lowest degree of satisfaction was for humanitarian specialties by (58%), which is a degree within the moderate level, and the highest level of satisfaction was from the share of medical specialties by (69%), which is a degree within High level.

As for the programs and skills development index, the satisfaction rate for this indicator was (64%), which is an average degree of satisfaction that indicates the university's seriousness to develop the skills of its graduates in line with the requirements of the labor market and what development requires in the external environment. At the level of specialization, the results show that the lowest degree of satisfaction was for humanitarian specialties by (58%), which represents a moderate level, and the highest degree of satisfaction was for agricultural specialties by (69%), which shows a high level of satisfaction with this axis.
