Center publications (an economic study of some of the effects of reducing the Iraqi dinar exchange rate on the development and future reality of Iraq)

An economic assessment of some of the impacts of cutting the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar on the development and future realities of Iraq was released by the Centre for Strategic Studies/University of Anbar. The study, which was conducted with a distinct scientific and analytical perspective, is regarded as one of the most significant and involved Ahmed Hussein Battal, Prof. Dr. Wissam Hussein Ali, and Prof. Dr. Jawad Shaker Freih. The decision to alter the devaluation of the Iraqi dinar in relation to the US dollar and its consequences on economic activity, productive institutions, economic sectors, and the level of prices for goods and services as well as individual income are the study's main reasons for importance. This is especially true given that Iraq's exports of goods are either virtually nonexistent or only consist of a small number of commodities other than crude oil. The study was structured along four axes: the first covered the introduction and earlier research; the second, the conceptual framework of the exchange rate concept; the third, the social effects of readjusting the exchange rate in Iraq; and the fourth, the effects of lowering the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar on certain financial and monetary variables, followed by the conclusion. and suggestions.
