The reality of the future of civil political culture in traditional societies (Al-Anbari society as a model)

The basis for building and developing societies is the ruling leaders of those societies. From ancient times, we find that in the times of the rule of some kings and sultans, their people live in prosperity and a comfortable life unlike others. The people are for themselves, unlike other systems that reduce the political life of the people to the ruling person and his family, and in order for democratic practices to be correct and successful, there must be a correct political life and culture to practice this life or the way in which the people govern themselves by themselves.

Iraq, as is the case with most countries in the region and the countries of the third world, has suffered over decades from the rule of the military and coups and did not allow it to practice true democratic life over those decades. The absence of a political culture that enables Iraqis to choose their representatives and thus choose an efficient democratic government, and this is evident from the deteriorating security and economic reality of the country.

This study attempts to present a picture of the cultural and political reality in Anbar Governorate as a model for traditional societies, especially the civil political culture, which is based on the selection of those who have competence and integrity away from tribal and regional affiliations, because the life of political parties is currently confused and immature, and there is almost a reluctance to belong to those parties for many reasons. To mention it here...

In conclusion, I offer my part and appreciation to the study preparation team, hoping that it will contribute to providing a clear picture of the reality and the future of the political culture in Anbar Governorate.
