Elections and Peaceful Coexistence in Post-Ethnic Conflict Countries (with a reference to the Iraqi situation after 2003 and its future)

Many societies, religiously, ethnically, or ethnically, or Athens suffer from violence and political and social instability, which may amount to war and armed conflict between the components of society in some cases, and democratic elections provide the opportunity to end this conflict and prevent its renewal, instead of resorting to violence in order to obtain representation. Political, ethnic groups can achieve this through free and fair elections, and as long as their representation can be achieved through elections, it is possible to imagine them from adopting violence and bearing arms. In addition, the electoral system can be designed according to certain foundations that moderate citizens’ attitudes regarding ethnic, racial or religious issues that cause division and societal inconsistency, and thus elections can be a mechanism to achieve moderation and reject extremism.
