Seminar

 One of the scientific activities in the Center of Desert Studies, a panel discussion was held on Tuesday, 7/6/2022, by the Department of Desert Geology, entitled (mitigating environmental pollution using eukaryotic algae ) and delivered by A. A.  Dina Thamir Hammody, in the presence of the director of the center, Prof. Dr. Nihad Muhammad Abboud, and the center's researchers, at 10 am.
The seminar was about the possibility of using eukaryotic algae for heavy metals bioremediation through the use of adaptation techniques with increasing concentrations of heavy metals for several generations to creating a phenotype that is resistant to heavy metals and can be used in the treatment of polluted water.
