Referring to the directives of the respected university president, and whoever initiated the cooperation between University of Anbar and government institutions, the Manager of the Center of Desert Studies (Prof. Dr. Nihad Muhammad Abboud) visited the Department of Forestry and Combating Desertification of the Ministry of Agriculture for the purpose of discussing the mechanism of scientific cooperation in the field of desertification and combating it and proposing a university of Anbar project is a green oasis as an example of combating desertification, and the visit was successful and during which a scientific cooperation mechanism was agreed upon. At the end of the visit, the director of the centre expressed his gratitude for the good reception and scientific cooperation from colleagues in the Forestry and Combating Desertification Department.
