Research Activities

 Regarding to directive of University president to cooperate with official establishments, the administrator of center for desert studies, prof Dr nihad M. Abood visited the research Station in Dawar componion with the manger of Conservation Agriculture project Dr Mohammed Kh., the manger of industrial crops Dr Mujahed E Alkubaisi and Head of Conservation Agriculture Dept in our center prof Dr Ali F Abdullah. Therafter, they surveyed the land of project and so decided to apply the project of Conservation Agriculture in Anbar province. This technique possesses distinguish role to optimal exploitation of agronomic practices and Water shrinkage because the climate of Anbar is considered as dry climate. Therefore, the project of this technique will be applied to be Water optimal exploited and other Environmental factors that effected on production increase especially of wheat to solidify the national economy via increase of local production of this strategic crop. The success of this project will achieve the self-sufficiency. Finally, we appreciate the researchers of Station in Dawar to be receptive cooperative contribution. Allah bless us
