Prof Dr Nihad M Abood administrator of the center for desert studies and Prof Dr Ali Almehemdi participated in seminar of Ph. D. Postgraduate hold at Department of Field crops, College of Agriculture. This seminar involved student Yasin Abid Ahmed who visualized his Ph. D project material and methods entitled effect of amino acids and sowing date on increase the productivity of some maize cultivars. This student supervised by Prof Dr Nihad. The other one Waleed Khalid Hoory with his project entitled exploiting of Water hyacinth and silver leaf nightshade weeds to produce inhibitory compounds to weeds and stimulatory to suflower and maize cultivars supervised by Prof Dr Ali Almehemdi. The Scientific committee and instructors attended the seminar.
