Under the patronage of the President of Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nada, and with the efforts of the Continuing Education Center, the College of Engineering, represented by the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation College, conducted the free training course tagged

"Risk management in scientific laboratories"

For the period 14-2023/5/17 in the Dams Department

According to ISO31000 international specifications

The course topics included:

-Discussing the risks facing laboratories in general and how to manage them according to scientific principles

-The importance of paying attention to the risk phenomenon at the organizational levels in scientific organizations

-Study the role of risk management in scientific institutions in how to anticipate and identify risks

- Study the identification, analysis and treatment of risks and develop appropriate methods to address them

-Discussing the general requirements for the provisions of the international standard and the steps for implementing them

A large number of the department's professors, administrators and teaching staff, participated in the course and passed the exam with meriT

It is worth noting that this specification is one of the indicators that must be obtained by laboratory staff as part of meeting laboratory quality standards, second edition (safety and security requirements), circulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency.
