In response to the invitation extended to it, Dr. Nasr Farhan Abdullah, the head of the Electrical Engineering Department, attended the Fourth International Conference on Electromechanical Engineering and its Applications for the year 2023. The conference was organized by the University of Technology / Department of Electromechanical Engineering and took place at the Canadian Hall from May 29th to May 30th, 2023.

The conference was held under the auspices of the esteemed Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the direct supervision of the esteemed President of the University of Technology, under the title: "Scientific Research as a Gateway to the Development of Countries."

It was attended by a large number of researchers from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. It's worth noting that the accepted research papers at the conference will be published in a Scopus-indexed repository
