The College of Engineering at the University of Anbar conducted the competitive examination for students applying for postgraduate studies (Ph.D. and Master's) for the academic year 2023/2024. The examination took place on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul Rahman Salman Jumaa, with the participation of the college's vice-deans, heads of scientific departments, and members of the computer center. The competitive examination was held in the scientific departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Dams Engineering.

Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs (Acting President) Dr. Atheer Anwar Sharif, and Dr. Mohammed Qais, the Director of the Department of Graduate Studies, along with Dr. Amir Mohammed Khalef, the Director of the Follow-up Department for Graduate Students, visited the examination halls for postgraduate applicants at the College of Engineering's laboratories while inspecting the progress of the exams at the university's colleges.

 During his visit, he was briefed on the examination atmosphere, the prior preparations, and the measures in place to ensure its success. He also assessed the nature and level of the questions.

The  Vice President for Administrative Affairs praised the efforts made by the college in terms of prior preparation for the examination, the level of organization, and the arrangements in place. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to those responsible for conducting the examination.
