The College Council holds its first regular session for the 2023-2024 academic year

After welcoming the attendees, the meeting began by reading Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs in Gaza, while praying for mercy and forgiveness for them. The Council discussed many issues, including:
1. Directives of His Excellency the Honorable Minister.
2. Directions of the Honorable President of the University.
3. Directions of the Honorable Dean.
4. Minutes of scientific department councils.
5. Minutes of the Scientific Promotions Committee.
6. Postponement requests for preliminary studies students.
7. Bologna track.
8. University internal classification requirements for the academic year 2023-2024
9. Ensuring quality and university performance.
10. The remaining items on the session’s agenda.
The Council also discussed a number of issues and matters on the agenda.
The meeting also included honoring the honorable Prof. Ahmed Abdel Latif for what he provided during his assignment to head the Department of Electrical Engineering, with wishes of success.
The Council also hosted Assist. Prof. Hamdi Imad Al-Din, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, to give a summary of his dispatch as part of a team from our university to the Kingdom of Jordan, according to the direction of the esteemed President of the University, to review the possibilities available in the research centers specialized in the field of nanotechnology and the possibility of benefiting from them in the field of joint research cooperation with teachers and researchers from our university.
