The Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering - College of Engineering - Anbar University held today, Tuesday, 10/31/2023, as part of the curriculum of its scientific activities for the academic year 2023/2024, and in the presence of the Head of the Department, the respected Professor Omar Mustafa Hussein, and a number of the department’s teachers, a workshop aimed at teaching the department by degree. The first is under the title: -

The workshop included two important parts: the first dealt with a detailed explanation of the national accreditation standards for engineering education programs in Iraq and what is required of the department to obtain this accreditation in the very near future. It also included an explanation of the differences between ABET standards and national accreditation standards. The second part of the workshop only dealt with an illustrative explanation of how to use the Rubrics to measure the second criterion, which is student outcomes.
