The Associate Dean of the College for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Muhammad Abd Ahmed, participated in the training course related to the Bologna Track, which was held in Erbil by the Dutch SPARK organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for the period from 10/31/2023 until 2023/11/ 2. Many professors from the Netherlands and Turkey lectured in the course, in addition to professors from Saladin University and the Technical University in Erbil with experience in the field of applying the Bologna Process. The course curriculum included several lectures that addressed the basic concepts related to the Bologna Process, such as calculating the number of ECTS study units. According to the European system and the effort of the student work load, in addition to how to design the study program in terms of calculating the number of units, the number of study subjects, the goals of the study program, and the outcomes of the study program.
