The Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering - College of Engineering - Anbar University held today, Tuesday, 11/7/2023, as part of the curriculum of its scientific activities for the academic year 2023/2024, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Professor Yasser Abdel Majeed Muhammad Al-Muharram, and the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Professor Eng. Dr.. The respected Nasr Farhan Abdullah and a number of the department’s teachers, a workshop aimed primarily at the department’s teachers under the title: -
“Requirements for obtaining engineering accreditation according to national standards”

The workshop included two important parts: the first dealt with a detailed explanation of the national accreditation standards for engineering education programs in Iraq and what is required of the department to obtain this accreditation in the very near future. It also included an explanation of the differences between ABET standards and national accreditation standards. The second part of the workshop only dealt with an explanatory explanation of how to use the rubrics for measuring the second standard.
