A workshop entitled “Violence and its effects on society and human rights” held by the College of Engineering in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Division at the University Presidency

Under the patronage of the Honorable Dean of the College of Engineering (Prof. Dr. Amir Abdul Rahman Hilal), the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the college was established in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Division at Anbar University and within the campaign to combat violence against women in Ibn al-Haytham Hall - Department of Civil Engineering on Tuesday, 12/2023/ 5 In the presence of Mr. Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Ahmed, the respected, and Mr. Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. The honorable Ahmed Anis Ahmed, a workshop entitled:

Present were:
  Jurist Muhammad Qasim Hussein - High Commission for Human Rights.
And Mrs. Hanan Odeh Abdullah - Special Needs Care Department
The workshop was managed by:

- Dr. Zeina Jumaa, a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department
 
The workshop addressed the types of violence and its impact on various groups of society, in addition to its conflict with the teachings of the Islamic religion and human rights.
The workshop was attended by many college members.
