As per the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to conduct scientific visits to practical sites, and in line with the principle of collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Electricity, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Anbar University, organized a scientific field trip to the Al-Hamadiyah 400 KV Substation in Ramadi.

 
Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amir Abdulrahman Hilal, the Dean of the College, fourth-year students participated in the visit. They were accompanied by Mr. Mustaq Najib and Engineer Ammar Khamees.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the students with the components and parts of the substation, its operational principles, input sources, distribution areas, the system it operates on, data transmission to and from the main control center, maintenance procedures, and other relevant details.
 
The students were warmly received by Engineer Ahmed Abdulhamid, the Operations Manager, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the visit's objectives. At the end of the visit, the students and supervisors expressed their gratitude to the technical and engineering staff at the substation for their warm reception and detailed explanations.
