The synthesis of the lecture is that the artificial neural network is a form of artificial intelligence inspired by the elements of the processing of information in the brain, a new technique used to develop the prediction of the variables that we need in engineering geotechnics based on field tests.

This study aims to predict the coefficient of compression and compression ratio of the soil in Anbar province using artificial neural network technology and compare the results of the mathematical model with experimental field data.

A total of 102 tests were completed to join the mathematical model.

Several questions were raised and discussions were held between the lecturers and the attendance of the teachers and the students.

The seminar was attended by the chairman and members of the scientific committee and all the faculty members in the department and graduate students for the research and preparatory year.
