President of Anbar University meets Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Staff

 

The President of Anbar University meets with the Dean of the College of Engineering and Teaching Staff and the Chairman and Members of the ABET Committee to extend the bridges of communication between the Presidency of the University and the Faculties and in order to identify the most important requirements of the scientific process. D. Eng. Khalid Batal Al-Najem, President of Anbar University, Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Jumaili, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Dean's assistants and heads of scientific departments, faculty members and the Chairman and members of the Committee (ABET) in the Faculty on Tuesday, 26/6/2018 in Ibn al-Haytham Department of Civil Engineering. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College welcomed the President of the University and the attendees, wishing that the meeting would be fruitful and aim to contribute to the progress of the College and to raise it to the level that would be appropriate. During his speech, he praised the existence of strong and effective indicators of the scientific activity in the college and this is the result of working as a team, which leads to improving the level of the college and its requirements. The president of the university also emphasized the continuation of teaching according to the requirements of ABET for the purpose of obtaining academic accreditation With the need to review the formation of sub-committees to implement these requirements in the scientific departments ,,, Another issue addressed by the sovereignty is to focus on the development of methods of lecturing in terms of the use of projector and the dissemination of electronic lectures, and also urged teachers to fold Their computer skills, the use of the electronic library and the publication of their scientific research in international journals. The meeting also discussed the development of the laboratory unit in the college.
